Leo Kaneman's Carte Blanche • Take Action Now: Ecological Transition and Human Rights

Scientists, artists, activists, young people: calls for action are multiplying in the face of the biggest challenge in the history of humanity, climate change. It’s urgent to be serious.

The predicted climate change-induced cataclysm directly affects human rights. If we lose this fight, how can others be led? But it is not too late to avoid the worst. Often, alternative initiatives and political engagement are seen as opposed. But shouldn’t we combine these two approaches as part of a common project? Facing the greatest challenge in the history of humanity, now is the time to seriously get into action.

With more than a million viewers, the documentary film Tomorrow was a huge success. All around the world, it went in search of various ecological, agricultural and monetary initiatives. Its sequel, After Tomorrow is about those who have changed their lives in the wake of the movie.
