A Conversation with Laurent Gaudé

Laurent Gaudé is the author of The Death of King Tsongor (Booksellers Prize 2003), The Scorta’s Sun (Goncourt Prize 2004 and Eldorado, but also a playwright, poet and opera librettist who participated 2 years ago as a member of the FIFDH Jury invited by the Société de Lecture. The films selected at the FIFDH left a strong impression on him and inspired his latest play, Et les colosses tomberont, published by Actes Sud. On the occasion of this exceptional event, Laurent Gaudé will read excerpts from the play, and will tell us about his new novel, Salina: The Three Exiles, a portrait of a luminous and wild heroine, told by her son.
