Following the death of his mother, a Tunisian soldier is granted a leave to travel home, from which he will never return. He decides to quit the army and becomes a fugitive. After several run-ins with the police, he is seriously injured and takes refuge in a forest, where he meets a young pregnant woman who lives in a luxurious villa nearby. She quickly falls under the spell of this mysterious outsider.
