De la cuisine au parlement
By Stéphane Goël
Switzerland is one of the last countries in the world to have granted women the right to vote and stand for election. First published in 2012, this brilliant film tells the story of those who fought to get Swiss women out of their kitchens. In the aftermath of the #MeToo movement, this is a crucial documentary enriched with archival footage and an exceptional series of interviews that reveals just how long the path towards the fragile equality of rights still is for women.
Co-presented with the RTS and the Bureau de promotion de l’égalité et de prévention des violences of the Canton of Geneva (BPEV)
