Climate emergency, citizen's emergency: the possibility of a new world?
Discussion to follow in livestream on fifdh.org
It is only very recently and mainly thanks to the global mobilization, of young people in particular, that the climate emergency has been acknowledged. While individual practices are often singled out, no real concrete measures are emerging at the economic and State levels. What means of action are available to radically and tangibly transform our current lifestyles? How can we encourage and foster improved coexistence? Citizens, young and old, politicians: we must all imagine a new society. Faced with the urgency, how can we fight against the slow pace of change and the lack of commitment by economic and State powers?
The film Aquarela is an extraordinary journey through the beauty and power of water; a powerful experience that make us question about what we are in the world of nature.
