Balloon

In the Tibetan pastures, Darje and Drolkar lead a serene and ordinary life with their three sons. An oblong balloon triggers a series of embarrassments and dilemmas that break the harmony within their community, torn between religious conservatism and sexual emancipation. Spirituality, politics and tradition are brilliantly intertwined in this elegant drama bathed in an icy light.
