Philosophical Café with the director and author Garance Le Caisne
The Philosophical Cafés at the Bains des Pâquis aim to introduce the public to the thoughts of current writers, scientists, researchers, artists and philosophers and to engage these guests in a dialogue with the public. Through contemporary themes such as feminism, ecology, ethics, health, transhumanism and new technologies, the Philosophical Cafés aim to bring together people of different opinions to reopen a dialogue through discussion and reflection.
During this meeting, Garance Le Caisne, director and writer, will present her latest book "Oublie ton nom, Mazen el Hamada itinéraire d'un disparu", the dramatic story of a young Syrian who fled his country. When he arrived in Europe, he became the spokesperson for a generation of refugees. He will speak about the torture but above all the destruction of souls caused by the abuse.
