In Chile, two filmmakers are making a film about their father's personal story of sharing a cell in a torture centre during the Pinochet regime. The documentary shows behind the scenes and the creative process of reconstructing their family history. Through emotional experiences and memories, they retrace the history of the country and the traumas of a whole generation. They tackle the question of bereavement and disappearance by asking which is the best way to convey this painful past.
