When a war or a catastrophe hits, people are often stripped of their dignity and belongings. They are left with nothing, they feel worthless. Some flee and become refugees; the lucky ones manage to grab an object before they leave- a memorabilia connected to their past life. Thierry Dana has captured these records charged with priceless sentimental value. Looking at these objects, one can't help but reflect and wonder: “What would I have brought with me?”
