Earn your Digital human rights! Open science and data, free software: At this Hackathon, participate in the digital revolution in defence of human rights.

In its early days, cyberspace was a world driven by scientists and techno-hippies, eager for shared and free knowledge, as well as experiments of all kinds. Today, cyberspace seems to be that of e-commerce, technology giants thirsty for our private lives and our attention. Despite the appearance of a lost paradise, the spirit of open source licensing has in fact infiltrated the entire IT society in order to address the greatest challenges of the web Among these are digital literacy (i.e., knowing how to write code), but also a revolution in sharing, truly united on a global scale, including places that are still disconnected from the Internet. This Hackathon presents different challenges for a revolution in solidarity and inclusive sharing, at the heart of the future of digital human rights.
Following the Hackathon, participants will have the opportunity to interact with Richard Stallman, founder of the Free Software Movement, of which GNU/LINUX is the most famous result.
