The Negotiators - How to make peace
By Rosalind Bain
From Colombia to South Sudan, "The Negotiators - How to make peace" takes place in several countries that share a common reality: they have all been torn apart by internal conflicts for decades. Against the backdrop of these clashes, the documentary details the work of those seeking solutions on the ground. Through the compelling testimonies of the protagonists, we discover different aspects of their work, their assessment of the situation, but also the personal cost they have to bear when trying to resolve conflicts in the most difficult circumstances. As we move from one situation to another, we get to know four very different people who, through their lives and professional careers, illustrate the different stages and paths that peacemakers must take.
